A popular form of social media content for a lot of its users are daily motivational quotes that often include little ditties or themes for the motivation like Wednesday Wisdom and Self-Care Sunday. We think this content is absolutely brilliant because it often shares thoughts related to each day that are actually common amongst others, so this ensures the posts are relatable. The quotes will often then mention a good way of having a more positive and productive attitude and generally a better way for your mental health of looking at things. So, we’ve put together some of our favourite quotes from Pinterest which are mostly themed for a particular day of the week and had a little chat about each day and what it can mean…
In
looking through Monday quotes on Pinterest, it’s quite obvious how common that thought
and opinion that Mondays aren’t exactly the greatest of days is. So, we chose
all the images which had positive quotes that really embody our thoughts on
Mondays which is that they’re the perfect opportunity to consider having a
fresh start. It’s the beginning of a new week and whilst it’s completely
understandable to not be too excited if your week’s plans include commitments
you aren’t looking forward to, it’s important to look at those and think that
this new week is the chance to change that mindset and try to find some sort of
silver-lining from them or see them as a opportunity for you to take on a new
challenge.
On
Pinterest, when looking through Tuesday-themed graphics, we spotted a lot which
instilled the advice and tip to look at Tuesday as a big testament to the fact
you got through Monday! To use this day as a reflection of your achievement in
coping with a day you were dreading or which you felt very negative about. The
quotes also, however, recognised that in recognising your accomplishment, you
shouldn’t get lazy(!) or passive and that it’s important to stay productive.
Again, getting half way through the week can be another sign of an achievement. We also liked the ‘well-being Wednesday’ mantra and so, we’ve put together some great well-being activities you could use and practice on Wednesdays (and all the other days too!):
We
really liked the ‘thankful Thursday’ motto we discovered through our search for
‘Thursday quotes’ on Pinterest, and one we’ve known for some time has been ‘Throwback
Thursday’ which provides a perfect motivation and opportunity to reflect, to
remember something hilarious or amazing or special or some sort of milestone.
Searching
Pinterest for ‘Friday quotes,’ it really wasn’t too hard to find a positive,
fun, exciting quote/image – it seems that enjoying that last day of the ‘week’
and the very beginning of the weekend is such a common thought process and
feeling!
We like
that the weekend really is whatever you make it – it can be about partying,
being busy, seeing friends, going for a meal with a partner; or it could be as
one of the quotes reads about hitting the pause button and using the weekend to
sit in your pjs, read a nice book, and spend time at home.
